New Year, New Reading Challenge!

Hello Readers!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and are happily coming out of your zombie states from various levels of seasonal partying. I, myself, still feel dazed and confused and not fully ready to go back to my day job of educating teenagers. I felt that gasp of sympathy readers, and I thank you. If you are saying to yourself, 'I didn't gasp with sympathy!'...I reply only with- You read the part where I admit I spend most of my time with teenagers right? Right?! Naw, just kidding. They're adorable (usually) and not scary at all (mostly).

I'm also not ready to give up this life of food and leisure I've been enjoying the last couple of weeks. So many parties, so many dinners, and so many wonderful friends and family. I feel especially glad to have been able to meet up with people I haven't seen in awhile. Here's my advice to anyone who cares to listen/take it: If you find yourself thinking of someone you haven't seen in some time, and you are wondering what they are up to/ how they are doing? Reach out to them! Seriously, get in touch!

But enough blathering on about holidays and meetings- Once upon a time, this blog's purpose was to document my goal to complete PopSugar's 2016 Reading Challenge. If you've been following this blog, you might have noticed that it stopped somewhere before the middle of the year... Yeah, I didn't do so well. I sadly, didn't complete it; not even enough to cheat and pretend I did.

How do I rectify this? Simple! I try again! If at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again!
So this New Year...I bring you the New Reading Challenge:

This time I aim to actually complete this bad boy/girl/they (for the gender neutral)
At the very least, I'd like to do better than before. So, please join me once again, as I attempt the challenge and document my experience with the books I encounter!

Happy New Year!
